Ik geef het eerlijk toe, als ik teveel naar Teen Mom kijk, dan wil ik een baby. Natuurlijk zijn de meeste moeders in Teen Mom echt een drama, maar dan zie ik Macy en haar kleine Bentley en dan weet ik het weer zeker, ik wil een kind.
Goed gelukkig heb ik daarboven ook nog wel een paar hersens zitten en heb ik genoeg verstand om te beseffen dat een kind op mijn leeftijd, in mijn absoluut nog niet stabiele situatie, niet bepaald wenselijk is en ik was dan ook niet van plan om aan kinderen te beginnen, anytime soon (als in de eerste komende tien jaar!). Maar toch… die gevoelens, die zijn er nog steeds.
Afgelopen week echter, werden deze gevoelens eventjes hardhandig de laan uitgestuurd. Ik keek De Gelukkige Huisvrouw voor de eerste keer. Het boek las ik vijf jaar geleden, maar maakte niet zoveel indruk op me. Ja, ik heb heel hard gelachen en wilde gelijk nog meer van Heleen lezen, maar verder… niets. Maar de film… was pijnlijk.
Hè bah, een kind krijgen lijkt ineens een stuk minder aantrekkelijk. Ik kreeg het spaansbenauwd toen ik Lea haar kind in een doos in een hoek zag schuiven, ik kreeg tranen in mijn ogen toen ik besefte hoe verknipt die hele bevallig Lea gemaakt had, ik werd boos toen duidelijk werd dat haar omgeving het niet echt begreep, maar vroeg mezelf toen af.. ‘Hoe zou jij in zo’n situatie reageren?’
Dus, van mijn kinderverlangens ben ik weer eventjes genezen. Ik ga straks eerst wel eens eventjes oefenen. M’n schoonzus is zwanger van haar eerste kindje en begin volgend jaar ben ik dan een soort van on-aangetrouwde-tante? Of hoe zou je me dan noemen? Een ding is duidelijk, ik stel me dus zeker wel beschikbaar als vrijwillig oppasmeisje :) En daar wil ik het voor nu maar gewoon eventjes bij laten. Verstandig niet waar?
