Vrijdagmiddag bezocht ik de show van Marloes Blaas als Grazia-Insider, ik mocht weer op de eerste rij plaatsnemen, wat fijner klinkt dan het daadwerkelijk was. Met m’n 50mm lens was het vrijwel onmogelijk om outfits van schoen tot hoofd te fotograferen, dus jullie moeten het bij mij helaas doen met een aantal halve foto’s, mijn excuses uiteraard.
De show was verrassend leuk én goed! De swingende fifties muziek zorgde voor een klassieke maar vrolijke sfeer. De collectie van Marloes is ook gebaseerd op de jaren vijftig, die jaren na de oorlog en dat was goed terug te zien in het kleurgebruik (veel bruinige tinten) en ook in de materialen, erg veel wol. Marloes zei zelf over haar collectie “Deze collectie heb ik gekeken naar grote families in de jaren vijftig, als het al moeilijk is om je kinderen te eten te geven, hoe kleden ze zich dan. De nasleep van de oorlog is een belangrijk gedeelte van de collectie.”
Ik moet heel eerlijk zeggen dat ik dit de leukste show vond die ik deze dagen bekeken heb. Veel zou linea recta mijn kledingkast in kunnen. Zoals de heerlijke chunky vesten, de pantalons met de prachtige taille met daarin mooie losvallende tops en oh die mij alsjeblieft ook die mooie blonde krullen van het meisje op de laatste foto? Pretty pretty please!
