Okee, ieder seizoen heeft wel iets. In de zomer heb je de meeste kans op blauwe luchten, in de herfst zijn de bomen zo mooi oranje en in de winter kan er zomaar een witte laag over het landschap liggen. Maar de lente vind ik het mooist.. als het zonnetje schijnt en de bloemetjes beginnen te bloeien en overal ineens kleur opduikt.
Zelf ben ik absoluut niet goed in levende planten en bloemen. We hebben thuis welgeteld één levend groen ding staan en dat is een basilicumplant. Het is maar goed dat dat ding ontelbaar veel levens lijkt te hebben, want om de dag staat m’n plantje er levenloos en verschrompeld bij. Dan bedenk ik me ‘Oja, die moet ik water geven’ en de volgende dag vergeet ik dat weer, om vervolgens de dag daarna weer een zielig plantje aan te treffen. You get my point?
Maar mijn ouders zijn fantastisch met bloemen en planten. Onze tuin verandert in maart altijd in een groene oase en een paar weekjes later komt er steeds meer kleur. Ik kan uren kijken naar mooie bloemetjes oh en ze ruiken ook zo lekker! Het is jammer dat ik hooikoorts heb, want de geur van vers gemaaid gras, dat is toch de geur van Lente, vrijheid, zon en gezelligheid?
