Gisteravond was zeer geslaagd, bijna twee keer zo veel geld op gehaald als gehoopt, 27500 euro, alleen daarom al was het een groot succes. Het bedrag werd twee minuten voordat de voorpagina voor het Rotterdams Dagblad geperst zou worden bekend gemaakt, nou dat was nogal stressen hoor. tientallen telefoontjes van de journaliste en ik die het bedrag al eerder probeerde los te krijgen bij de organisatie. Maar ook dat kwam goed. Het ANP aan de telefoon, een berichtje op NU.nl en dan voelt het toch wel heel erg echt. Super leuk.
M’n rode broek was geslaagd. Althans, ik heb geen rare opmerkingen gekregen, slechts een paar complimentjes die ik natuurlijk gelukkig in ontvangst nam, ook al ging het daar helemaal niet om. De gerechtjes waar ik tussendoor van gesnoept heb waren heerlijk. Vooral de truffelsoep van Herman den Blijker was goddelijk, de Dimsums van Asian Glories waren ouderwets lekker en de Leliesoep van Marco / Elzenduin was spannend. Een smaak waar aan je moet wennen maar hoe meer je proeft hoe lekkerder het eigenlijk werd. En het is medicinaal en super goed voor de vertering, dus ook al was ik er zuur van gaan kijken, dan had ik het zeer waarschijnlijk nog zonder klagen opgegeten.
Het was een bijzondere avond :)
