Natuurlijk heb ik geen hekel aan de zon, in de verste verte niet. Ik hou van de zon, soms denk ik zelfs dat er geen groter zonaanbidster is dan ik. Voor de zon laat ik alles staan, voor de zon heb ik heel erg veel over en zonder zon voel ik me heel erg anders, op een niet zo positieve manier. Kijk, het is een beetje als met het vriendje waar je zo ontzettend veel van houdt, waar je niet zonder kan, waarvan je zoveel houdt en die je zo bezig houdt, dat al het andere op de achtergrond verdwijnt. Zo is het met mij en de zon, alles verdwijnt op de achtergrond zodra de zon verschijnt. En daarom wil ik de zon soms eventjes gewoon niet zien. Maar net als het vriendje wat je af en toe een beetje zat bent en wat je dan onwijs gaat missen, zo mis ik de zon dan ook als er ook maar een paar wolkjes voor verschijnen.
En dat gebeurde gisteren. Mijn enige middag dat ik echt vrij was, had de zon zich verstopt. Beledigt waarschijnlijk, door mijn onaardige, ondankbare stukje van de dag daarvoor. Natuurlijk miste ik de zon. Ik had mijn opdracht voor mijn studie af en ik mocht van mezelf een paar uurtjes luieren in de zon, maar de zon dacht.. nu heb ik je Annemerel, nu ineens wel he? Nou je kan de pot op.
Toen ben ik maar twee uurtjes vroeger naar mijn werk gegaan, want daar was het druk wist ik. Natuurlijk kwam de zon het moment dat ik een voetstap over de drempel van mijn werk heen zette weer tevoorschijn, maar dat is logisch. Het was lekker gezellig druk, na het avondeten aten we festini perenijsjes die ik nog snel even bij de supermarkt had gehaald en ’s avonds hadden we ook alleen maar gelukkige mensen aan tafel.
Na het werk dachten we nog even te gaan dimsummen in Den Haag, maar Den Haag is op dit moment niet echt de plek waar je wilt zijn met je auto, dus deden we over een ritje van twintig minuten, ruim drie kwartier. Natuurlijk sloten alle chinezen plots al hun deuren toen wij er aan kwamen en uiteindelijk zijn we maar naar de Chinees in Scheveningen gereden (die is iedere nacht, no matter what, tot vier uur geopend!) Heerlijk fout gegeten, absoluut niet volgens mijn gezonde leefregels, maar regels zijn er om gebroken te worden, want dat houdt het leven leuk, toch? Toen we bij de auto’s (drie in totaal, voor zeven man) terug kwamen hadden we allemaal een prachtige parkeerbon ter waarde van 52 euro. Want ja, als het eventjes niet mee zit, dan zit het ook echt niet mee. Gelukkig konden we er allemaal om lachen, maar zo wordt het natuurlijk wel een duur avondje uit.
En vandaag werd ik al weer gewekt door fluitende vogeltjes en een stralend zonnetje. Over twintig minuten moet ik op mijn werk zijn en ik heb zo’n gevoel dat het weer gezellig druk gaat worden. Heb er zin in :).
