Ik ben een drama in de auto, met het OV kan ik ook vaker niet dan wel overweg en nu ga ik jullie vertellen dat ik te voet ook helemaal niet zo fantastisch ben.
Ik had gister mijn tentamen en ik had me prima voorbereid. Niet op het tentamen zelf, maar op de weg die ik moest lopen naar de tentamenzaal. Ik zou gaan lopen, want metro’s vind ik vies en ik weet nooit precies hoe ze werken (zal vast niet lastig zijn, maar ik heb vanwege de stank een zekere desinteresse). Natuurlijk regende het net op het moment dat ik wilde gaan lopen pijpenstelen. Ik probeerde de H&M voor een paraplu, maar de H&M dacht waarschijnlijk ‘het is bijna zomer, dan heb je geen paraplu nodig..’ dus ik had twee keuzes, veranderen in een verzopenkatje of me over mijn metro-haat heen zetten.
Ik besloot voor het laatste te kiezen. Ging allemaal prima, ik hoefde maar vier haltes dus hoefde niet eens na te denken welke metro ik zou kiezen (ze gingen namelijk toevallig allemaal naar die halte) en het ging nog relatief snel ook. Totdat ik uit de metro stapte en niet meer wist waar ik was. Op mijn kaartje die ik van Google Maps had geprint stond het metrostation niet en mijn iPhone had ik net uitgezet omdat ie bijna leeg was, dus die kon me ook niet helpen.
Uiteindelijk heb ik het gevonden, vijf minuten voor het tentamen begon (ik stapte 35 minuten daarvoor uit de metro). Ik ben in de tussentijd gevallen (voet ligt open en Marc Jacobs ballerina is voorgoed geruïneerd), ik heb mijn lunch weggegooid (omdat ik echt geen trek meer had door al die spanning), ik ben chagrijnig, ik ben moe, ik ben gestrest.. en nou ja nog 1000000 factoren waardoor ik mijn tentamen verpest heb (1 daarvan is dat ik niet goed genoeg geleerd heb, maar ook daar heb ik weer 100000 redenen voor).
De terugweg was echter nog een stukje erger. De regen was inmiddels gestopt en ik besloot toch maar te gaan lopen. Maar ik deed iets heel erg stoms, ik vertrouwde op mijn neus. Ik liep en ik liep maar door.. eerst langs Artis, toen langs een park.. en ik negeerde de bordjes waarop stond dat ik voor het station linksaf moest, nee ik moest gewoon rechtdoor, die bordjes waren gek.
Als ik dit nu lees denk ik, “die bordjes zijn gek Annemerel? Meen je dat nou serieus? Jij bent gewoon helemaal gek. Die bordjes staan daar toch zeker niet voor niets.” Op een gegeven moment liep ik dood en ik zag alleen nog maar water om mee heen, was ik op een eiland ofzo? Ik besloot toch maar mijn bijna lege iPhone aan te zetten en te kijken waar ik was. Toen ik zag waar ik was schrok ik beetje. Ik stond inderdaad op een soort van eiland en ik stond helemaal aan het eind van het eiland, vraag me niet hoe ze het noemen.. maar op de straatnaambordjes stond nog steeds centrum, dus ik dacht dat ik nooit zo heel erg ver kon zitten.
Ik voerde het Centraal Station in op mijn telefoon en wat bleek.. Nog 45 minuten lopen naar CS. Nee? Serieus? 3,5 kilometer? Ik heb over 30 minuten mijn trein nodig..
Fuck mijn neus! Fuck 3,5 kilometer! Fuck 45 minuten! Fuck mijn ballerina’s! Fuck mijn zware tas! Ik ga gewoon rennen. Toen ik uiteindelijk op een punt kwam waar ik het Centraal Station kon zien liggen kon ik alleen maar heel erg opgelucht zuchten. Uiteindelijk was ik er in precies 23 minuten. Ruim op tijd voor mijn trein, nog precies 7 minuten om een taartje te halen bij Starbucks te halen. Niet omdat ik het verdiend had, maar meer een beetje om mezelf te verwennen.

Ik kan geloof ik een blog vollullen alleen maar over mijn blunders. Ik denk dat op een dag mijn leven verfilmd gaat worden voor een soap. Dus je bent niet de enige gelukkig :)
Maar naar is het wel. Hopelijk valt het mee en heb je gewoon een 6je gescoord!

Wel sneu voor je dat je reis-drama's hebt, maar ik weet zeker dat je hierdoor later wel meer de weg weet en dat je hierdoor heel veel leert te navigeren :P
