Mijn lieve studievriendinnetje Nathalie (http://www.booksandfoodproject.com) zat afgelopen donderdag tien uur in de trein naar Montreal en heeft haar tijd iets te nuttig besteed. Ze heeft mijn scriptie ‘nagekeken’ en iedere (stomme) fout van mij aangestipt. En serieus, dat heeft ze goed gedaan, maar toen ik het nagekeken bestand opende viel ik toch wel zowat van mijn stoeltje, want halleluja, wat is Nathalie slim en wat lijk ik ineens oliedom. Gelukkig is Nathalie wel zo lief geweest om ook de goede puntjes aan te kaarten, zodat ik niet gelijk op de delete knop drukte en met drie flessen wijn de zee in ben gelopen, maar toch, het meeste was toch wel kritiek.
De afgelopen twee dagen ben ik dus weer heerlijk met mijn scriptie in de weer geweest. De tijd begint nu echt te dringen, dinsdagochtend moet ik hem toch echt loslaten. Ik weet dat het geen goede instelling is, maar ik heb zo’n gevoel dat het ook dit keer niet gelukt is. Ik zie zelf ook wel dat dit niet het meest briljante stuk uit de pragma-dialectische geschiedenis is. Maar ik hoop dat het goed genoeg is. Ik heb altijd alles netjes op tijd gehaald, heb slechts twee (!) tentamens in drie jaar hoeven herkansen (en dat was in mijn eerste jaar). Dan loop ik toch zeker geen studievertraging op door mijn scriptie? Dat mag ik toch zeker niet zomaar laten gebeuren?
Als het wel zo is, dan heb ik daar vrede mee. Ik wil er eigenlijk liever niet aan denken, maar ik kan er weinig aan doen. Mijn scriptiebegeleidster zal mijn scriptie heus niet voor niets onvoldoende beoordelen. Dan moet ik het volgend jaar gewoon over doen. Dan maar geen jaartje vrijheid, dan maar gewoon door gaan.
Maar daar wil ik eigenlijk nog niet aan denken. Ik ga het gewoon halen, want ik heb nog 1,5 dag en in anderhalve dag kan ik heus wel bergen verzetten.
