M’n eerste ordinaire campingdag. Wakker worden om een uurtje of half negen, broodjes halen bij de mini markt op de camping. Na het douchen gelijk je bikini aantrekken ook al schijnt de zon op dat moment nog niet. De hele dag van alles eten. Van amandelkoekjes tot nectarines en van worstenbroodjes uit Nederland opgewarmd in ons oventje tot twister-ijsjes.
Hoewel ik het aan het begin altijd erg moeilijk vind, dat nietsnutten, kan ik me er als ik er eenmaal aan gewend ben helemaal in verliezen. Dan is opstaan voor een bezoekje aan het toilet nog geen vijftig meter verderop al een hele onderneming. Van zo’n zonnetje kun je zo verschrikkelijk loom worden. Of ben ik de enige die hier last van heeft?
Of ik vandaag dan helemaal niets gedaan heb? Oh jawel! Om ons heen bleek iedereen ineens vertrokken, dus hingen we ons badmintonnet tussen twee bomen en speelden we met z’n vijven een potje badminton. Twee tegen drie dus, met m’n moeder als onoplettende scheidsrechter. Mijn team verloor, maar dat lag meer aan mijn partner dan aan mij en wij waren ook maar met twee en ik had een blaar onder mijn voet en de tegenpartij speelde vals en wij keken tegen de zon in en er stond een boom op ons veld en ja beginnen jullie het al door te hebben? Verliezen is niet zo mijn ding.
Vanavond ga ik pasta met kreeft eten bij een restaurantje hier in de buurt. Of de pasta net zo lekker is als in Florence gisteren, ik zou het niet weten, maar mijn ouders die hem vorige week al aten spreken nergens anders over, dus ik ben zeer benieuwd! Nu snel uitvinden wat voor fantastische outfit ik vanavond ga dragen. Sinds m’n huid veel overeenkomsten met een oorlogsslagveld vertoont kan ik wel wat afleiding gebruiken.
Model van vandaag is trouwens… Roosmarijn! Omdat ze met d’r gekke flaphoed en mijn Ray Ban Wayfarer en haar mooie gezichtje gewoon een ultiem foto-object is.
