Gisterochtend, toen om zeven uur mijn wekker ging, was het buiten zwaar bewolkt. Er leek zelfs sneeuw naar beneden te vallen. Even wilde ik me omdraaien, om vervolgens net zo lang in bed te liggen totdat de zon zou gaan schijnen. Maar, een paar minuten later was ik redelijker en bedacht ik me.. je skiet maar een week per jaar, waarom tijd verspillen? Ik voerde m’n ochtendritueeltje uit en ging naar boven, met in mijn achterhoofd het gezegde dat achter de wolken de zon zou schijnen.
En het is waar.. op 2100 meter hoogte vond ik de zon.
Wat we hiervan kunnen leren? De uitdrukking achter de wolken schijnt de zon kun je naast de originele betekenis (Er komen altijd voorspoediger tijden) ook op andere manier uitleggen. Als het even tegenzit kun je wachten totdat het geluk naar je toe komt, maar je kunt er ook naar op zoek. Fijne wetenschap toch?
