Deze zomer verhuis ik mijn kantoor naar buiten zodra de zon schijnt. Ik ga op zondagen om zeven uur ’s ochtends hardlopen als de vogeltjes fluiten, de zon langzaam opkomt en iedereen nog slaapt. Ik ga tezamen met mijn Nikon D7000 naar Amsterdam International Fashionweek en ik vlieg de dag erna naar Italië. Ik ga tien dagen bloggen vanuit Florence en tussendoor natuurlijk ook wel een klein beetje genieten van de plek waar ik op dat moment ben. Ik ga nu toch echt eindelijk weer eens boeken lezen voor mijn plezier. Ik ga hard werken bij Elzenduin, maar ook heeeeel veel bloggen en Freelance artikelen schrijven. Ik ga vier dagen naar Parijs en dan ga ik dus sowieso ook weer ontbijten bij het Plaza Athenee! Ik ga heerlijk uitverkoopshoppen en aan het eind van de zomer een groot gedeelte van mijn kleding weer verkopen. Ik ga sushi eten met vriendinnen, Chinees om vier uur ’s nachts met mijn collega’s en ga heerlijk hele avonden koken met mijn vriend. Ik ga mijn basilicum en muntplantje zo goed verzorgen dat ze mij tot minstens 21 september in blaadjes kunnen voorzien. Ik ga zomersoundtracks maken totdat m’n hele iTunes bibliotheek minstens 1x gebruikt is en oh ja, ik ga genieten.
Waar ik de tijd vandaan ga halen? Als we slapen, dan doen we dat overdag en in de zon. Er wordt niet meer avonden lang naar herhalingen van Friends en Gossip Girl gekeken. Doelloos websites vernieuwen, daar doen we niet meer aan en aan ziek zijn en katers doen we deze zomer ook niet. Want we gaan onszelf deze zomer gewoon een keertje goed verzorgen.
Dit wordt mijn zomer!
