Ik hou van geuren die ik in het verleden geroken heb op bijzondere momenten. Zoals de geur van benzine bij een pompstation, dat staat bij mij voor vakantie. Ik hou van Dior’s Pure Poison, want die kocht ik de eerste keer in Londen toen ik voor het eerst zonder ouders in een ander land was. Ik hou van de geur van oude boeken, omdat die me aan mijn tijd op de basisschool doen denken.
Afgelopen week vond ik een pakketje in de brievenbus, van Star-Chic eigenaresse Diana. Naast een heerlijk vestje, een super mooie sjaal en oorbellen, waar ik binnenkort meer van zal laten zien, zat daar ook deze kaars in. Op zich niet onwijs bijzonder, maar wel ontzettend schattig. Toen ik hem echter rook nadat ik hem aangestoken had kwam daar weer zo’n geur vol nostalgie tevoorschijn. De geur van het mannelijke luchtje van Jean Paul Gaultier.
In een heel ver verleden, was ik idolaat van deze geur. Mijn eerste vriendje droeg het vrijwel iedere dag en ik was verliefd op hem, dus ook op zijn parfum. Nu, jaren later, ben ik al weer meer dan twee jaar meer een Boss-luchtjes meisje (en dat heeft natuurlijk absoluut geen verdere betekenis, haha..), maar dat luchtje van Jean Paul blijft nog altijd dat nostalgische kalverliefde gevoel naar boven brengen. Dankjewel Diana! I Love It!

Ik hou trouwens het meest van de geur van vanille, heb ook zo'n mega grote vanille kaars van Ikea.

Her hair is a lil messy she looks like another American woman on a hot,late evening in NYC,waiting for someone,who must be late. In this picture I love her the most.Her eyes are bright and so loving and hopeful.I love that she is casual,but still amazingly beautiful.Because of this picture It inspires me to follow my dreams and goals.It makes me see that even with all the movies and music,even with all the furs and jewels she was just another American woman who followed her heart even though people mocked and abandoned her.MM you are missed.
