De afspeellijst die ik zondag tijdens de halve marathon luisterde was natuurlijk iets langer dan deze tien nummers… maar het verschil tussen deze nummers en de rest, is dat ik het moment dat ik deze nummers hoorde nog kan herinneren, ik kreeg er namelijk een soort van euforische energie van. Walk On van U2, sleepte me door de zeventiende kilometer heen, Glee’s versie van Time of my life zorgde er voor dat ik net na de start veel te hard van start ging. Met Rolling in the deep zette ik de eindsprint in en finishte ik uiteindelijk ook.
Het is een ratjetoe, een mix in de ruimste zin van het woord. Maar eh, ook zonder hen had ik het niet gered.
